Principality Premiership Coach Of the Year- Greg Woods

The 2nd piece of silverware arrived at Pandy park on Thursday morning after Head Coach Greg Woods picks up the Principality Premiership Coach Of the Year award.

Woods who couldn’t pick up the award in person due to being on Holiday, sent this message in appreciation for the award.

Its been a great season for the keys, we have all worked extremley hard to achieve finishing 6th in the league, runners up in the B&I CUP, Winners of the Swalec Cup, and me winning Coach of the year is just the icing on the cake, not just for my self but for the whole club, I want to take this opportunity to thank the squad , and Management team , who have be instrumental in our sucsess, the players have been professional thought the whole season and I applaud their hard work, I’ts a great honour to be chosen as Coach of the year, I have tried to build the keys sucsess over the last few season and 2011/2012 is the season that all the hard graft has paid off, I want to thank my family for supporting me throught, and it was a very proud and emotional moment winning the Swalec cup and my family being their to share the occassion with me.
It would be wrong of me not to mention and thank the supporters , it has openly been commented that we don’t have the largest fan base in the premiership, but what we do have is loyal supporters who come along week in week out, and i’m sure we have picked up a few more this season who will stay with us for years to come, the support we had in Ireland was fantastic, and the support at the millenium Stadium was amazing.

I would like to thank  our Team Manager Mark Prangell for accepting the award on my behalf.

A combination of the players , Management, committee, background staff and Supporters have all contributed to me winner this pestigious award, a big thank you to you all.
