Cross Keys make the long trip to mid-Wales this Friday evening as they visit Church Bank to take on Llandovery.
The
Keys will be looking to put last weekend's last ditch defeat at Cardiff
behind them but they will have their work cut out as The Drovers need a
win to maintain their own play-off hopes. With plenty as stake this
game promises to be something special.
At Pandy Park back in
November The Keys became the first side to defeat the Drovers this
season when they triumphed by 22 points to 15. Keys points on that
occasion came from an excellent Tom Lampard try with Steffan Jones kicking
the rest of the points with 5 penalties and a conversion. Llandovery
crossed for 2 tries both by winger Sam Soul with Cerith Rees kicking 1
conversion and James Garland adding a penalty.
Llandovery have
once again had a very good season and currently sit in fifth place, 10
points behind third placed Keys but the Drovers do have 2 games in hand
over Keys so the winner on Friday evening could go a long way to
eventually deciding who gets into the end of season play offs.
